Pyper is operated by Ashfurlong Limited, a company registered in England, registration number 11116224. This notice explains what happens to the name and email address you give us when you join the Pyper early list.

Ashfurlong Limited is the data controller for the information described here. We follow UK and EU data protection law, and we apply the same standards to everyone who joins the list, wherever in the world you are. You can reach us at support@askpyper.com.

What we collect

When you join the early list, we collect:

• the name you enter
• the email address you enter
• the date and time you signed up
• the page you arrived from, and basic information about the browser you used

We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics on this page, and we do not track you across other websites.

Why we collect it

We use your name and email address to tell you when Pyper launches, and occasionally to share progress before then. That is the only thing we use it for.

We rely on your consent as our lawful basis. You gave that consent by entering your details and joining the list.

Who else sees it

Your details are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase. Emails are sent using Resend. Both act on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing.

If our business or any part of it is reorganised, sold, or combined with another business, your information may transfer with it.

Where it is held

We are based in the United Kingdom, and our database and email provider process information in the United States. Whichever country you are in, your information will be transferred to and stored in those places.

Where the law requires a safeguard for that transfer, we rely on the standard contractual clauses approved for the purpose. If you would like a copy, email us.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you ask us to remove them, or until twenty-four months after launch if you have not become a customer, whichever comes first.

Your choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to:

• send you a copy of what we hold about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop or limit how we use it
• withdraw your consent, which does not affect anything we did beforehand

We will never treat you differently for asking.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first and we will try to put it right.

If you are in the United Kingdom, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you are elsewhere, you can complain to the data protection authority for your country where one exists.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant and you are on the list, we will tell you by email.
